Engineering Proposal

An engineering proposal is a document that solicits outside business, submitted to outside organizations. The content needed to create the proposal are:

  1. Summary: Covers the major elements of the proposal in 1-2 sentences
  2. Introduction: Needed to help readers understand the context, scope, and organization of the proposal
  3. Problem: Works as the exigence of the situation by explaining the conflict of the situation
  4. Objectives: Goal you are trying to accomplish in the proposal
  5. Solution: Explanation of what you want to do with the project
  6. Methods: The technical description of the product/project being presented
  7. Resources: A Few paragraphs on your and your team’s credentials
  8. Management: Provides specifics on how much the project will cost.
  9. Appendixes: Provides the task schedule, bar charts, network diagram, evaluation technique, etc.
